Kim Chiu claims that Sarah Geronimo is more popular than her

Despite the recent rumors about Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s supposed break-up, the Kimerald fans are not only as solid as ever but they also remain hopeful that ABS-CBN would give the two another huge project in the coming months. Kim is no longer surprised with this news since she gets to talk to them almost all the time. “Ever since naman sobrang supporive ang Kimerald. Kahit saan, kahit anong mangyari, pinagtatanggol nila kami, pinaglalaban nila kami so sobrang lucky kami ni Gerald to have them. Actually, pumupunta sila sa taping ko ng Your Song with Ms. Ai-Ai delas Alas and nandun sila lagi ‘pag may ASAP, E-Live, and The Buzz guesting ako,” she revealed in a recent interview.

Kim also took the chance to clarify the rumors that there’s a growing rivalry between Kimerald and Sarah Geronimo’s fan groups as they’re allegedly trying to prove whose idol is more popular. Although she’s considered by many as the hottest teleserye princess to date, Kim stressed that Sarah’s box office movies and record-breaking concerts are certainly difficult to beat. “Bakit naman po (may ganong issue)? Siyempre si Sarah ang mas sikat no, hello,” she exclaimed with a laugh.

You would recall that some of the Kimerald fans expressed their disapproval when reports about a possible team-up between Sarah and Gerald came up last year.

So it is safe to say that all is good between her and Sarah? “Yeah, sobrang ok kami. Nagkikita kami sa ASAP and wala namang problema. Yung ibang tao lang ang gumagawa ng mga kwento kwento,” she finally stated.
