Dalawa na ang bagong shows ng veteran comedian and TV host na si Joey de Leon sa TV5—ang game show na House Or Not at ang gag show na Wow, Meganon?! kung saan kasama niya si comic DJ na si Mr. Fu.

Bukod sa shows niya sa TV5, napapanood din si Joey sa apat na programa ng GMA-7: Eat Bulaga!, Startalk, Mel & Joey, at Spin It! Win It!.

Ipinaliwanag ni Joey na wala siyang kontrata sa Kapuso network kaya naman malaya siyang nakatatangap ng shows sa TV5.

"Alam ninyo sa totoo, hindi ko itinatago, wala akong kontrata sa kahit anong network," sabi ni Joey nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa presscon ng Wow Megonon?! Lunes ng gabi, September 6, sa Cravings Tomas Morato.

Dagdag niya, "Ang kontrata ko lang ay sa Startalk. Hindi ko pa yata naibabalik yung contract, e! Basta ang kontrata ko lang dun ay hindi ako puwedeng gumawa ng isang chismis show din. At hindi ko alam kung nakasulat din dun na hindi ako puwedeng lumabas sa ganoong klase rin ng show. Hindi ko maalala. Yun lang siguro.

"Hindi ako kumukontrata. Hindi kami sanay mula pa noon ni Vic [Sotto] na nagpapakontrata. Dalawang bagay ang hindi namin ginagawa ni Vic—ang mag-makeup saka magpakontrata!" natatawa niyang biro.

WILLIE REVILLAME. Napabalita noon na kukunin at bibigyan ng show ng GMA-7 si Willie Revillame pagkatapos mawala sa ere ang noontime variety show nitong Wowowee sa ABS-CBN.

Nang makarating daw ito kay Joey ay sumama ang loob niya sa Kapuso network. Kaya nagbalak daw siyang mag-resign dito. Iiwan na raw niya ang mga shows niya rito. Sa isang episode nga ng Startalk ay hindi rin siya sumipot.

Pinabulaanan naman ni Joey na magre-resign siya sa kanyang shows kapag pumasok si Willie sa Kapuso network.

Paliwanag niya, "Natiyempo lang na wala ako sa Startalk. Yun yung time na nagloloko ang tiyan ko for two weeks. Wala akong balak na mag-resign sa mga shows ko. Ang sarap-sarap magtrabaho."

Hindi rin naman natuloy na magkaroon ng show si Willie sa GMA 7. Pero sa TV5 ay tuloy na tuloy na raw ang pagkakaroon niya rito ng isang variety show, ang Wiling-Wili Kami, na mapapanood na raw simula sa October.

Okey lang naman daw kay Joey na makakasama niya na sa iisang network si Willie.

"Wala akong magagawa. Desisyon 'yan ng management. Wala akong power para pigilan... Saka hindi ko naman pipigilan, trabaho 'yan, e. Siya [Willie] lang naman ang nagpapaalis ng tao, hindi naman ako!" biro ni Joey.

Pero kung sakaling bigyan sila ng show together ni Willie sa TV5, tatanggapin ba niya?

"Malabo siguro ngayon kasi ang dami ko nang ginagawa na, e," sagot niya. "Me mga radyo pa nga akong iniisip ngayon, e. Baka mawalan na ako ng time sa ibang bagay. Bumalik muna siya. Mahirap, e, hindi pa nga siya bumabalik, e. Basta walang problema sa akin. Hindi naman ako ganung tao, e."

Out of curiosity, if ever magkakaroon sila ng show ni Willie, ano sa tingin niya ang magiging format o title ng show nila?

"Siguro yun ano.. Night and Day ang title. Ako dun sa Day, siya yung tipong sa show ni German Moreno sa Night!" tawa ni Joey.

"Hindi, joke lang yun, huh!" bawi niya. "Saka hindi naman ako yung kaaway niya, e, si Jobert [Sucaldito]. Tanungin ninyo si Jobert, sila ang ‘pag ginawan ng show, kung tatanggapin ba niya." - Rommel Placente, PEP

Survivor Philippines: Magan tribe sends another member home

 Sa dalawang sunod na linggo, isa na namang castaway ang nalagas sa Magan Tribe sa Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown nitong Biyernes.

Nanggaling muli sa tribu na pinamumunuan ni Buhawi Meneses, ang pagboto ng pauuwiing castaway matapos matalo sa immunity challenge ang representative nila na si Elma Muros.

Sa ginawang botohan sa Tribal Council na pinamunuan ng host na si Richard Gutierrez, pinili ng tribu na patalsikin ang Bubble Gang cast member na si Myka Flores, na dalawang araw nawala sa isla dahil sa emergency cases.

Sa 18 na celebrity castaways, nauna ng nawala sina Doc Ferz Recio, host ng Born to Be Wild, at Starstruck V avenger Princess “Ang Pasaway" Snell.

Bukod kay Buhawi, natitirang miyembro ng Magan tribe – na itinuturing pinakamahina sa tatlong tribu sa reality series – ay sina Socialite and model Solenn Heussaff, actor and host Mico Aytona, at track and field champ na si Elma.

Tila inaasahan naman ni Myka na siya ang patatalsikin sa tribu dahil sa pagkawala niya ng dalawang araw sa isla matapos siyang isugod sa ospital dahil sa panginginig.

Aminado naman ang cast member ng Bubble Gang na nanghihinayang siya sa pagkakatanggal dahil nawala na rin ang tiyansa niyang manalo ng P3 million cash price.

Bago ang botohan, inungkat muna ni Richard kung tama ba ang naging desisyon ni Buhawi na patalsikin sa isla noong nakaraang linggo si Doc Ferdz na posibleng dahilan ng paghina ng kanilang grupo.

PEP: ABS-CBN files P486M counterclaim damage suit vs Revillame

ABS-CBN has filed a P486-million counterclaim damage suit against former Wowowee host Willie Revillame.

Atty. Augusto San Pedro Jr. represented ABS-CBN in filing the counterclaim before Judge Luisito Cortez of Regional Trial Court Branch 84 on Thursday, September 16.

In its counterclaim, ABS-CBN says that Willie should pay P426.92 million as liquidated damages for breaching his contract with ABS-CBN.

Willie's former home network is also seeking P20 million each for moral damages, exemplary damages, and attorney's fees and litigation expenses.

According to a daily newspaper, the 139-page answer pointed out that Willie was the one who "materially breached his obligations under the Agreement while defendant ABS-CBN fully complied with its obligations."

As a result, ABS-CBN has asked the QC RTC to dismiss Willie's complaint for judicial confirmation of rescission of contract with damages.

It will be recalled that Willie asked the court to confirm the cancellation of his contract with ABS-CBN.

The TV host also asked for P11.5 million in damages from the Kapamilya Network: P5 million in moral damages, P5 million in exemplary damages, P1 million for lawyers' fees and P500,000 for litigation costs.

In its counterclaim, the Kapamilya network cited several incidents wherein Willie violated his contract, which states he must "not bring himself to public disrepute and jeopardize the success of Wowowee or defendant ABS-CBN."

These include his outburst on August 3, 2009 wherein he reacted strongly to the video of the funeral hearse of the late President Corazon Aquino being shown at the same time while Wowowee was being broadcast live.

Another incident cited was Willie's outburst on the May 4, 2010 episode of Wowowee wherein he threatened to resign from the show if management did not fire radio host Jobert Sucaldito. Willie alleged that Jobert had made harsh remarks about his noontime show and his contestants.

Another major violation was his appearance on Paparazzi, a television show of rival network TV5.

When PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had the chance to ask Willie earlier today, September 17, regarding this development, he calmly answered, "Alam ko na iyan."
